    A view on Viewer

    Dear reader petersmall

    Please try out a new way to enjoy MSN - our experimental Viewer.   From Cars to Entertainment to News the MSN Viewer brings together the best of the MSN portal in a compelling new view.

    Using Microsoft Silverlight technology Viewer is a window into all parts of the portal.

    It doesn't replace your home page or the section home pages - but gives a fresh perspective on all the great content within MSN.

    Please try it and let us know what you think: good and bad. We'll use Viewer and your feedback to design future generations of MSN and new ways to offer you great news, entertainment and useful tools and services.

    Its a shame that this space has died since the initial launch of MSN Viewer. It would have been refreshing of you to keep the communication channel open.

    I was having a problem with msn video when I clicked on to start the video nothing happen I did download silverlight and all was going well up until earlier today then the same problem happened again . please help me thankyou

    It will definitely take some getting used to, but I don't see why it shouldn't be something that will kick off. Maybe allowing it to be the main page permanently will help.

    The new look is perfect for youngsters like me(17).I just love the new look.I just changed from Gmail to Live mail.I think MSN is doing a great job in the new homepage.It would be a great hit if it is a bit faster.I know that the MSN will achieve this because you guys are the best in the world.And I am a great fan of Windows live suit. Please make it faster so that I can start using it as my new homepage.

    It looks very nice, but I think you should have different options to what colour you want the background or if that is impossible then I think you should use a darker background to bring out the text and pictures

    I love the new design. It is stylish, sleek, up-to-date and really easy to navigate. As a young user (15 yrs) of msn, I think most young people will prefer this look.
    A few more modules could be added, but overall, fantastic!!!

    I've just gone to the new Viewer and it asked me to download Silverlight! But I've got it, I thought. Ah well, what's one more download, eh? Done that and now the page gives all of it's content. Apart from looking beautiful, the pages that pick up from the links are really good. I must play with this further but I have to go now. It's munchies time!
     
    Well done (again!) Microsoft. I doooooo like this Viewer. Hope I can access me hotmail page from it sometime in the future. Yeah, okay. I'm hinting:-)
